If you are a beginner, this is THE BEST foundation you could get. You should consider yourself fortunate to have an opportunity to start on the right track at the beginning of your career. A lot of content is available on positive reinforcement, but this course will equip you with the motor skills and know-how needed to train.
I AM AN EXPERIENCED DOG TRAINER AND I KNOW HOW TO TEACH THE BASIC COMMANDS. DO I NEED TO ATTEND THIS COURSE?
If you have been training dogs for some time, now is the time to upgrade yourself. Correction based training is obsolete and banned in many parts of the world, you need to move on. Even if you do not use force, you will not be getting the right results without proper techniques in operant conditioning. This course teaches you the motor skill and the techniques needed to become an effective dog trainer.

If you have trained yourself by watching videos and reading books, this course will show you where you have been making the mistakes. Positive reinforcement is not about feeding, feeding and feeding. There is a science to the training and this course teaches you that. We will show you how to become a better dog trainer by training chicken!

WILL THE COURSE COVER PROTECTION TRAINING?

Yes, the IPO course will include protection training. Our training experts have trained and excelled with positive reinforcement ONLY - No prong collar, No E-Collar, No choke chains, No shouting, No physical correction, just smart and simple training. The August 2019 workshop will cover the basics of IPO training. With this and the Level 2 course in January 2020, you will be ready to train IPO protection through positive reinforcement.
WHY DO YOU SAY YOU WILL TEACH US TO TRAIN CHICKEN? HOW IS IT RELEVANT TO DOG TRAINING?
Training chicken helps a trainer to focus on the task at hand. The purpose of the exercise is not to train the chicken, but to train YOU - the trainer. Chicken learn very fast and it makes it easier to train a student with an animal that learns fast. Furthermore chicken help you to learn motor skills, timing, criteria, planning and most importantly they teach you to keep it simple.
